These terms explain how PolyBaba works and the rules for buyers and sellers. They are written in plain English. By joining a PolyBaba waitlist or using the site, you agree to them.

1. What PolyBaba is
PolyBaba is an online marketplace that connects buyers with farmers and sellers in the Pacific. PolyBaba acts as a mediator between buyers and sellers. PolyBaba is not the seller or the grower of the products listed.
PolyBaba is in a pre-launch waitlist stage. Joining a waitlist does not create an order, a contract to buy or sell, or any obligation. Features described on our pages may change before launch.
2. Who can use PolyBaba
You must be at least 18 and able to make binding agreements. If you use PolyBaba for a business, you confirm you can act for that business. Please give us accurate information and keep it up to date.
3. Buyer protection
When ordering opens, the buyer pays PolyBaba, not the seller directly. PolyBaba holds the payment until shipping is confirmed, then releases it to the seller. If the seller does not ship, PolyBaba refunds the buyer.
Details such as timeframes, how shipping is confirmed and how disputes are handled will be shown before you place an order.
4. Seller responsibilities
Sellers are fully responsible for:
- Following all laws for growing, selling and exporting their products, in their own country and the buyer's country.
- Holding a valid export license and getting phytosanitary certificates and any other documents needed for each shipment.
- Describing products honestly, including variety, part of the plant, quality and quantity.
- Shipping what was agreed, on time, with correct paperwork.
5. Verified badge
Sellers can be "Listed" (anyone can join) or "Verified". The Verified badge means the seller sent PolyBaba an export license and phytosanitary certificate(s) and we reviewed them.
The badge is not a guarantee of product quality or of every shipment. PolyBaba may refuse, suspend or remove the badge at any time, for example if documents expire, are not genuine, or a seller breaks these terms.
6. Minimum order
The minimum order on PolyBaba is 100 kg. Sellers may set a higher minimum. Prices are given on inquiry.
7. Translation
PolyBaba offers built-in translation so buyers and sellers can talk in their own languages. Translation is provided as-is and may contain mistakes. Please confirm important details, such as quantities, prices and delivery terms, before you agree to them.
8. Prohibited conduct
You may not:
- Give false information or pretend to be someone else.
- Upload fake, altered or someone else's documents.
- List illegal, unsafe or misdescribed products.
- Arrange payments outside PolyBaba to avoid buyer protection.
- Harass, scam or spam other users.
- Copy, scrape or interfere with the site.
We may remove listings or accounts that break these rules.
9. Limits of responsibility
To the extent allowed by the laws that apply to PolyBaba, PolyBaba is not responsible for the products themselves, for a seller's or buyer's actions, or for losses caused by events outside our control. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under consumer laws that cannot be excluded.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If changes are important, we will let waitlist members know by email or WhatsApp.
